Before your visit
To help your excursion run smoothly, please ensure students and supervising adults are prepared before the day.
Students and teachers should bring:
- a hat
- a refillable water bottle
- enclosed shoes
- weather-appropriate clothing
- lunch and snacks (if required).
Please note
Duty of care and behaviour management remain the responsibility of the school at all times.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your session.
- Groups larger than 30 students will be divided into smaller groups.
- Teachers and supervising adults attend free of charge.
- Please provide your bus company with any relevant access and parking information before your visit.

Bus access
Buses must enter via Randwick Gate on Darley Road. Once you enter the gate, follow Grand Drive and turn onto Parkes Drive, then onto Dickens Drive.
Bus drop-off and parking
A designated bus drop-off zone is located adjacent to the Discovery Centre. View the bus access map for parking and large vehicle information.
Public transport
Light rail: Moore Park or Royal Randwick.
Bus services from Central Station, Museum Station and surrounding suburbs.

Bus access
Heading west on Victoria Road, turn into Callan St and then right on to Manning Street. You will find King George Park at the end of the road. Enter the carpark and the students can alight.
Heading east on Victoria Road, turn left on Terry Street, right on to Wellington Street and then turn right on to Victoria Road (heading west), then turn left on to Toelle Street, follow on to Manning Street.
Bus drop off and parking
Please arrange for buses to drop students at King George Park, Manning Street, Rozelle. Arrive 20 minutes before your session to allow time for recess and use of amenities.

Bus access
Buses are recommended to enter via Queen Road Gate after 10 am. Once you enter, follow West Domain Ave to Byrnes Ave to drop students.
Bus drop-off and parking
Bus Zone 1 for Wistaria Gardens, The Picnic Ground and The Dairy. View the bus access map for parking and large vehicle information (PDF, 278 KB).
Public transport
Train: Parramatta or Westmead train stations.
Light rail: Parramatta Light Rail services run frequently and is a short 8-10 minute walk from nearest stops.
Bus: The Parramatta bus terminal is next to the Parramatta train station on Darcy and Argyle streets.

Bus access
The entrance to Lizard Log is at the corner of Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive, Abbotsbury. From there, follow the road through to the West Car Park.

Bus drop off and parking
Buses must load and unload passengers in the marked bus parking. Once on foot, follow the concrete footbridge to the Lizard Log Pavilion and Amphitheatre.
