Getting to Western Sydney Parklands

There are many options for getting to the park using public transport. Visit Transport NSW for more information.

For vehicle access gates are open daily from 8am to 6pm (8pm during daylight saving).

Parking is available on site. Park only in the bays marked by signs and symbols. Time restrictions apply in some areas.

Bus access

All passenger vehicles over 3 tonnes need a permit to enter Western Sydney Parklands. All buses need to be aware of designated bus zones for safe loading/unloading of passengers. Use caution and follow the road safety rules.

Download and print a bus access permit (946 KB) to complete and display on the dashboard. The permits are free of charge.  

Bus drivers, please read and comply with the conditions of use. Report any damages caused by your bus on 02 9895 7500 or 0459 883 834.

Security incidents: 

  • Between 6 am – 6 pm (or 8:30 pm during daylight saving time), call 0459 883 834 to talk a ranger.
  • For out of hours assistance or help after the park gates close, call our ranger service on (02) 9699 7711.
  • In an emergency, call 000 (or 112 from a mobile phone).
  • If you see anti-social behaviour or malicious damage occurring, call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444. 

 

Finding an injured animal

If you come across injured wildlife in our parklands, please contact your local wildlife rescue organisation or report it to a park ranger as soon as possible. The following organisations have local volunteers on hand to rescue and care for injured wildlife.
