Learning in all weather
We run our education programs in most weather conditions. Learning outdoors can be just as valuable in wind and rain as it is in sunshine.
Prepare for the weather
As an outdoor venue, we ask excursion supervisors, parents and students to come prepared for changing conditions.
Participants should bring:
- wet weather gear when needed
- a hat and sunscreen
- clothes that can get dirty
- suitable enclosed shoes.
Activities during wet weather
Some activities may not be suitable in rain. When possible, sessions may move where activities can be adapted for indoor learning.
Severe weather
If there is a severe weather warning we may cancel the activity.
In this case, a new date or refund may be arranged at the discretion of Greater Sydney Parklands.
