Brazilian Fields - functions and wedding receptions

Brazilian Fields is a large, open greenspace with a pine forest backdrop. Its flexible setting provides a blank canvas for marquee wedding receptions, corporate functions, family celebrations and other private events.

Located around 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD, the venue is close to the Entertainment Quarter and Moore Park, with public transport connections from the city and Bondi Junction.

Brazilian Fields is located beside Dickens Drive in Centennial Park, near the Parklands Office and Parade Grounds.

Public transport is recommended. Parking within Centennial Park is limited.

Spaces and sizes

Brazilian Fields includes several outdoor areas that can accommodate different function layouts and requirements:

• Brazilian Fields: 45,000 square metres
• Brazilian Fields West: 26,000 square metres
• Brazilian Fields East: 13,000 square metres
• Loch Avenue South: 12,000 square metres

The area available for your function will depend on your proposed layout, infrastructure and event requirements.

What is included

Brazilian Fields is hired as open greenspace. Hirers are responsible for arranging the infrastructure, services and suppliers needed to deliver their function.

Depending on your plans, this may include:

• marquee, flooring, furniture and styling
• catering and bar services
• power, lighting and audio equipment
• temporary toilets
• security and event staff
• waste management and site cleaning.
   

Event planning

You will need to engage an experienced event organiser to manage your function. Your organiser will work with our venue team on the operational plans and approvals required for the event.

Plans must address the installation and removal of temporary infrastructure, supplier and vehicle access, waste, site servicing, wet weather and protection of the parklands.

Hire period

Brazilian Fields is available for a minimum hire period of 3 days, allowing time for setup, the function and pack-down. Additional days may be arranged depending on availability and the requirements of your event.
