Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre has rules to keep people, horses and the environment safe. These rules apply to everyone who visits or uses the centre and surrounding parklands.
Follow park rules
Centennial Parklands has rules to help protect visitors, wildlife and the environment. Park rangers enforce these rules under state law.
If you break the rules, you may receive a fine.
Understand the code of conduct
The code of conduct explains how to use the centre, the equestrian grounds and horse track safely and respectfully. It applies to visitors, private clients, licence holders and anyone doing business at the centre.
The centre is a busy, shared space. You need to be aware of other park users and act in a way that supports safe and respectful use of the area.
If you use the centre or its equestrian facilities, you must follow the code of conduct.
Why the code of conduct is in place
The code of conduct helps to:
- keep people and horses safe
- support respectful behaviour
- prevent illegal activity
- meet legal and regulatory requirements
- keep facilities accessible for everyone.
Read and acknowledge the code
You must read the Centennial Parklands equestrian centre code of conduct and regulations before taking part in any activities.
After reading the code, you must complete an acknowledgement form before using the centre or riding in Centennial Park.
Follow these steps:
- Read the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre code of conduct and regulations.
- Submit the acknowledgement form.
If more than one stable holder nominates you, you must submit a separate acknowledgement form and supporting documents for each nomination.
The participant who holds the stable booking must nominate you. You must also receive approval from centre management before taking part in any equine activities.
Safety at the equestrian centre
The centre takes the health and safety of workers, licence holders, clients, visitors and horses seriously. There are emergency and incident procedures in place to support safe operations.

Follow the evacuation plan
An evacuation plan is in place to support a safe and healthy environment. All workers, licence holders and visitors should understand this plan while at the centre.
