Enjoy your next outdoor celebration in one of our beautiful picnic shelters! Bookings are available 3 days to 3 months in advance and align with park opening hours.

The Klunker Shelter, located in Wylde, is a versatile and spacious option for hosting birthdays, picnics, and small corporate events. Its convenience and flexibility make it a popular choice for families and groups.

This shelter accommodates up to 40 guests, with seating for 25. Public barbecues are conveniently located nearby, water fountains and restrooms are within walking distance. Bike racks and bike-washing stations are available for use.

Just off Range Road (entry via Elizabeth Drive, Cecil Park) in Wylde, this shelter is surrounded by open spaces, bushlands and bike tracks. It’s perfect for adventure seekers and those enjoying nature.

Private site hire: This tier offers affordable rates for individuals and community groups looking to utilise our sites.  

School site hire: Designed specifically for primary and secondary educational institutions, this tier provides pricing for schools and educational programs. 

Corporate site hire: This premium tier caters to businesses and corporations, offering a complementary team-building permit and add-on for functions and corporate gatherings.    

• Outside service providers like food vans are not permitted at Wylde.
• Electric barbecues in the park are for public use and are not included in your booking.
• Portable barbecues with legs are allowed (except during total fire bans), waste must be taken with you.
• Heat bead and charcoal barbecues are prohibited in Wylde.

Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellations can be made up to 5 days before the date of your booking. We will deduct a $70 administration fee and refund the rest of your hire fee.
• No refunds will be offered for cancellations made within 5 days of the date of your booking.
