Stable your horse at the equestrian centre
Centennial Parklands equestrian centre offers stabling and horse care services in central Sydney. You can care for your horse yourself or use a full or part- board service provided by an on-site operator.
Choose your stabling option
The centre has 135 stables available for private lease. There are different stabling options to suit your budget and horse’s size.
When you stable your horse at the centre, you can access all on-site facilities, as well as the horse track and equestrian grounds in Centennial Park.
Hire facilities
The centre offers a range of spaces for hire. These include platinum, premium and Clydesdale stables, as well as feed and tack rooms, float parking bays, arenas, a meeting room and park arenas.
Understand stabling fees
You must pay stabling fees in advance before your application starts. Ongoing fees are due within 14 days of each month.
You will also need to pay a refundable security bond equal to one month’s rent. This bond will be refunded when your lease ends if all fees have been paid and the facility is left in good condition.
To receive your bond, you must:
- give at least 14 days’ notice before leaving
- make sure all fees are paid
- clear out your stable, tack and feed rooms
- leave the space undamaged.
Before leaving, complete the departure checklist provided by centre management.
Horse track
All memberships include access to the horse track.
If your horse is not stabled at the centre, you can apply to use the horse track. Supporting documents and fees may apply.

You will have access to all 3 arenas and the lunge yard in the equestrian centre, as well as the equestrian grounds and horse track in Centennial Park.
The lunge yard must be booked in advance.
Your friend may ride your horse if they have approval from the equestrian centre and complete the required approval process.
This includes:
- a participant nomination application
- photo identification
- public liability insurance with at least $20 million cover
- acknowledgement of the code of conduct.
No. Only riding school instructors and approved Independent Instructors may provide lessons at the equestrian centre.
Your coach may only instruct at the equestrian centre or Equestrian Grounds if they are an approved independent instructor or work for one of the on-site riding schools.
No. Stables cannot be sublet. If your friend needs stabling, they should contact the equestrian centre office.
Yes. You must notify the equestrian centre before your horse leaves the site and complete the required forms.
When your horse returns, you must complete an animal health declaration form.
