A Joint Select Committee of Parliament is reviewing the Greater Sydney Parklands Trust Act 2022 (GSPT Act), which establishes the Greater Sydney Parklands Trust. The Trust manages the parklands estate, which includes Centennial Parklands, Parramatta Park, Western Sydney Parklands, Callan Park and the Fernhill Estate. The Committee will assess whether the policy objectives of the GSPT Act remain valid, and whether the terms of the Act are appropriate for securing those objectives.
The Joint Select Committee's report was tabled in Parliament on 26 June 2025 making 4 findings and 26 recommendations.
