Notice of a proposed lease to construction industry drug & alcohol foundation (CIDAF) for use of a part of Callan Park 

Proposed lease of Part of Building 501/Precinct Four at Callan Park to Construction Industry Drug & Alcohol Foundation (CIDAF)

Pursuant to section 6(6) of the Callan Park (Special Provisions) Act 2002 (NSW) (the Act) notice is given of a proposal to lease Part of Building 501/Precinct Four in Callan Park.

As the consent authority, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces would like to consider any written comments regarding the proposed licence in accordance with section 6 of the Act. 

The main terms of the proposed lease are as follows:

  • The lease is for a not-for-profit residential rehabilitation centre offering residential rehabilitation, outpatient services and ongoing support after rehab to those with alcohol, other drug and gambling addictions.
  • The lease will be issued by the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust. The lease agreement is between Health Administration Corporation and Construction Industry Drug & Alcohol Foundation (CIDAF).
  • A nominal rent is agreed between the parties.
  • The applicant will occupy the site until 28 February 2029.
