Explore the beautiful gardens, originally crafted by Paul Sorensen, and uncover the history of this colonial homestead on a guided tour of Fernhill Estate.  

Wander through the unique landscape where the Cumberland Plain Woodlands meet the Escarpment and discover the rich variety of native plants and wildlife in the area.  

Visit Fernhill House to learn about its fascinating past, from the Cox family in the late 1800s to the Andersons in the 1980s.

Tours run from 10am to 12pm, with the option to enjoy a picnic on the grounds until 3pm. Click the booking link to see tour dates.

The walking trail includes stairs and uphill sections. Wear enclosed walking shoes and have a good level of fitness.

Bookings are essential, starting at $30 per person.

Wheelchair access is limited in some areas of the property and tours. Please contact us in advance Monday to Friday on (02) 9895 7500 to discuss your requirements.

Parking and toilets are available on the site.

Bring your own food and drinking water as there is no on-site catering. No alcohol is permitted.

Picnic is not provided as part of the tour; however, visitors may bring their own provisions and enjoy on the Estate until 3:00 pm.  

Please take away all your rubbish.
