NOTICE OF THE MINISTER’S DECISION TO GRANT CONSENT FOR A LEASE TO WE HELP OURSELVES (WHOS) FOR PART OF BUILDING 501/PRECINCT FOUR IN CALLAN PARK
Pursuant to section 6(6) of the Callan Park (Special Provisions) Act 2002 (NSW) (the Act) notice is given that the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces provides consent to grant a lease of Part of Building 501/Precinct Four in Callan Park to We Help Ourselves.
The Minister has considered the proposed Lease in accordance with Section 6 and 6(6A) of the Act and has granted consent for the following reasons:
- HAC, the landowner, has requested that Greater Sydney Parklands facilitate the lease
- Notice has been publicly advertised in accordance with Section 6(6) and 6(6A) of the Act
- The advertisement received no submissions
- The lease agreement is between HAC and We Help Ourselves
- The term and permitted use under the lease are compliant with the Callan Park (Special Provisions) Act 2002.
