Tour

Enjoy the twilight in Parramatta Park and learn about its inhabitants.

Join us for a short twilight walk along the Parramatta River in Parramatta Park. Our education rangers and bat carers will talk to your groups about our colony of grey-headed flying foxes.

We will observe their flight at sunset, watching them dip their bellies in the water and make their way to look for food.

You will learn about all the nocturnal inhabitants of the park, and what you can do to help them survive in the urban environment in which they have to adapt.

Grey-headed flying fox camp.
