Listen to the amazing Sydney Youth Orchestra's Symphonic Wind Orchestra performing Gustav Holst's The Planets and more starry music before you embark on a evening of star and planet gazing.
Dr Luke Barnes from Western Sydney University will provide you with an introduction in the stargazing.
The Sydney City Skywatchers will provide guidance with their amazing telescopes, all whilst our campfires keep you warm on a winter's night.
Sydney Youth Orchestra's Symphonic Wind Orchestra will perform:
- Doctor Who: Through Time and Space - Murray GOLD
- Jupiter from The Planets - Gustav HOLST
- Mars from The Planets - Gustav HOLST
- The Mandalorian - Ludwig GÖRANSSON
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens - John WILLIAMS arr. Bocock
Join us for a beautiful night of music, science and incredible nature!
Event details:
- Entry from 3:00pm
- Concert: 3:30pm - 5pm (with intermission)
- Stargazing: 5:30pm - 8pm
- Picnics are welcome. BYO picnic blankets or seats.
- Children need to be supervised and dogs need to be on a lead.
