Tree maintenance works at Moore Park Sports Precinct
Greater Sydney Parklands will undertake scheduled tree pruning at the Moore Park Sports Precinct, including the Moore Park Tennis Courts and the Toll House, from Wednesday 30 September to Friday 2 October, between 7.30 am and 3 pm each day.
Works will include pruning overhanging branches to reduce tree canopies around the tennis courts, provide clearance for lighting and maintain appropriate clearance from the heritage Toll House building.
All pruning will be undertaken in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, pruning specifications and arboricultural best practice. Less than 30% of the total live foliage will be removed from each tree.
What to expect:
- Reduced access to some tennis courts and services while works are underway
- Noise from equipment, including chainsaws and woodchippers
- Tree maintenance vehicles and equipment operating in the area
- Temporary signage and site controls around work areas.
The tennis facilities and services will remain open, with minimal disruption expected to ongoing activities.
