Greater Sydney Parklands will welcome a new major concert series to Centennial Park in 2027, adding to the park’s long history as one of Sydney’s leading outdoor event destinations.
Sydney Summertime has announced The Strokes as its first headliner, with Beck, Courtney Barnett and Promiseland also set to perform at Centennial Park on Saturday, 20 February.

Presented by Secret Sounds and Live Nation, the concert will conclude The Strokes’ highly anticipated return to Australia in February for Reality Awaits Australia 2027, marking their only Sydney show and only outdoor show of the national run.
Sydney Summertime will bring some of the world’s biggest music acts to the city across consecutive weekends in February and March 2027, creating a new live music experience in one of Sydney’s most iconic outdoor settings.
The new series forms part of Greater Sydney Parklands’ approach to attracting high-quality major events that bring people into our parklands, contribute to Sydney’s cultural life and generate broader economic and community benefits.

Alongside headline international and Australian artists, Sydney Summertime will showcase homegrown talent, with Australian performers featured on every event day and a strong focus on supporting NSW artists.
The experience will extend beyond the stage, celebrating the best food and drink NSW has to offer. Visitors can enjoy artisan markets featuring leading Sydney restaurants, bars, food trucks and cellar doors, alongside producers showcasing premium regional food and beverages from across the state.
The event is expected to generate around $8 million in visitor expenditure, providing a significant boost for accommodation providers, hospitality venues, retailers, transport operators and other businesses across Sydney and NSW.
Secured by Destination NSW, Sydney Summertime is presented by Black Peach X, the event experience company founded by the team behind some of Australia’s most successful music festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Homebake.
