Visitors to Lizard Log in Western Sydney Parklands will notice some exciting improvements, with major investments helping create a greener, more enjoyable destination for the community.
More than 400 native trees have recently been planted across The Dairy precinct and along the pathway to Lizard Log as part of ongoing efforts to grow the tree canopy across Western Sydney Parklands. With additional planting, alongside ongoing maintenance and establishment works, these young trees will help create cooler, greener spaces for future generations to enjoy.
The area surrounding the popular Lizard Log playground has also undergone a significant refresh. More than 14,000 native plants have been added to rejuvenate garden beds, complemented by fresh mulch and protective fencing to support healthy growth.
Families can also enjoy a range of playground upgrades, including new swings, monkey bars, flying fox decking and picnic tables. Together, these improvements are enhancing the visitor experience while supporting the long-term vision for Lizard Log as one of Western Sydney Parklands' premier recreation destinations.
