Centennial Parklands filming & photography application form

Use this form to apply for approval to carry out commercial filming or photography in any outdoor location of Centennial Parklands.

    Note: Submitting an application does not confirm a booking. Your proposed activity is subject to assessment and approval by Greater Sydney Parklands.


    Submit your application at least 7 business days before your proposed shoot date. More complex applications may require additional assessment time.

    Drone use: Recreational drone use is prohibited at Centennial Parklands. Commercial drone filming requires separate approval. Include details of the proposed drone activity in your application. Please provide 5 working days' notice.


    PLEASE NOTE:  Many of the above activities will also require approval from other statutory authorities, e.g. NSW Police, Roads and Traffic Authority, Department of Arts, Sport and Recreation, RSPCA, NSW Office of Children's Guardian, NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Land Registry Services etc.

    Include details of equipment, temporary structures, generators, lighting, special effects, traffic management and any impact on park visitors.

    Vehicle access restrictions

    Only metered parking is available on Driver Avenue. Vehicles must remain on roads unless otherwise approved.


    Vehicles exceeding any of the following dimensions cannot enter Centennial Park:

    • 4.4 metres high
    • 4 metres wide
    • 19 metres long.

    Trucks and other large vehicles must enter and leave through Randwick Gates.

    As a part of your application all medium to high impact shoots must provide a risk assessment. Please refer to the risk assessment guidelines for more information.

    Part 5: Fees and conditions

    Fees vary according to the type, scale and impact of the proposed activity. Review the filming and photography fees and charges before submitting your application.

    Part 6: Lodgement and payment details

    What happens next?

    After you submit your application, we will email you to confirm it has been received. We will contact you if we need further information and advise you of the outcome once the assessment is complete. For further information regarding your application, please contact us on (02) 9339 6699.

    Payment

    Full payment is required before the approved filming or photography activity takes place. We will issue an invoice after your application has been approved. Payment can be made by credit card or electronic funds transfer.
