Greater Sydney Parklands continues to manage Calmsley Hill Farm Dam in accordance with the NSW Dams Safety Act 2015 and the Dams Safety Regulation 2019.
We remain compliant with all reporting and operational obligations set by Dams Safety NSW.
Key activities completed in 2025:
- Routine inspections were carried out in line with the Dam Safety Management System.
- Annual engineering assessments confirmed the dam is performing as expected.
- Maintenance works were completed to address minor issues identified during inspections.
- Emergency preparedness and response procedures were reviewed and updated.
- Staff participated in dam safety training to maintain competency requirements.
- Risk assessments were reviewed and remain current. No significant safety risks or structural concerns were identified during the reporting period.
Planned improvements for 2026:
- Continued refinement of the Dam Safety Management System.
- Scheduled maintenance and monitoring upgrades.
- Ongoing training and capability development for operational staff.
Preparation for future capital works as required.
