Centennial Parklands hosts a range of outdoor events each year, including concerts, festivals and community events. Amplified sound associated with these events is managed in accordance with the Centennial Parklands Noise Management Plan and relevant approval conditions.
The noise management plan outlines the framework for managing event noise and balancing the operation of outdoor events with the amenity of surrounding communities.
As part of these requirements, sound monitoring is undertaken at selected events and reports are published on this website.
