Located near Randwick Gates at the southern end of Centennial Park, Church Grounds offers around 14,000 m² of level green space framed by Randwick Pond and beautiful Sydney skyline views. This versatile site is ideal for community gatherings, private functions and activations, and already hosts annual events such as Walk 4 Brain Cancer and the Women’s & Girls’ Emergency Centre Walk.

Adding to its appeal, a scenic walking and running route passes directly by the site, with impressive lakes and parkland views – perfect for integrating community walks, fun runs or fitness elements into your event. To apply to hold your event at this venue, complete the online application form.

Applications must be submitted as early as possible, no later than 6 months out for large events.

We will conduct an internal assessment based on the information provided and will contact you to offer advice, seek further information or arrange a meeting. If it is decided to progress an event proposal beyond initial assessment, a more detailed proposal may be required.  

We encourage all parties interested in hosting an outdoor event of scale in the park to consult the NSW Event Starter Guide before submitting a proposal.
