Belvedere Amphitheatre

Belvedere Amphitheatre is a versatile outdoor venue within Centennial Park, featuring expansive lawns and a natural amphitheatre with views across Federation Valley. With capacity for large audiences, it is well suited to outdoor cinema, theatre productions, live performances, community events and private functions in a distinctive parkland setting.

Located in the north-east of Centennial Park, the purpose-built amphitheatre hosts the annual Moonlight Cinema season and has welcomed productions including A Midsummer Night's Dream. The venue can accommodate approximately 2,000 guests.

Belvedere Amphitheatre is located in Centennial Park on the corner of Carrington Dr and Broome Ave.

To apply to hold your event at this venue, complete the online application form.

Applications must be submitted as early as possible, no later than 8 months for large events. 

We will conduct an internal assessment based on the information provided and will contact you to offer advice, seek further information or arrange a meeting. If it is decided to progress an event proposal beyond initial assessment, a more detailed proposal may be required.  

We encourage all parties interested in hosting an outdoor event of scale in the park to consult the NSW Event Starter Guide before submitting a proposal.
